Our goal in Mathematics is to produce mathematically-powerful thinkers and problem-solvers who are confident and feel comfortable using math in their daily lives. In 2011 Morris adopted Go Math! as its K-5 math program. GoMath! is aligned with the Common Core Standards and is more focused on deeper mastery of a smaller set of math concepts. It is designed to serve the needs of a variety of math learners and features core lessons for all followed by re-teach, practice, or enrichment. In addition to GoMath!, Morris students participate in daily math fact practice and encourages parents to extend this daily practice at home.
